The Steps to Success

Stage 1: Artwork
This is the first step in bringing your character costumes to life! CIC
provides our clients with a free designing service providing
artwork of your design in character costume form.

Stage 2: Prototype Development
This is where CIC gains its’ leading edge over the competition.
Our production team develops your mascot using the approved artwork as
reference. This gives you, the customer, the opportunity to make any adjustments
necessary in the initial stages of the project. Once you are satisfied
with the prototype costume, the production team prepares patterns of the
design.

Stage 3: Mold Development
At CIC, we have created the most advanced method of producing multiple
character costumes using state-of-the-art technology and the highest quality
materials. To insure that the approved prototype costume is properly duplicated,
our designers create a mold of the head shape. This mold acts as a guarantee
that your “brand image” is accurately represented.
Stage
4: Thermoforming
Using the newest and most efficient equipment in the
industry, CIC can produce multiple shapes of your design, guaranteeing
consistency. The head shapes are produced using the lightest, most durable
close cell foam materials. The production time lines are greatly reduced
when comparing them to traditional production methods.
Stage 5: Finishing
The costumes now come together with the finishing process that takes
place with all components. The custom ordered fabric for your project
is used in the covering stages of the head and the completion of the body,
feet, and other component items.

Stage 6: Quality Control
Each costume goes through rigorous testing to insure that it meets the
CIC standard. Our Quality Control department checks each component thoroughly
for workmanship defects and tries on each costume to insure performer
comfort.

Stage 7: Shipping
Lucky 7….the costumes are shipped to the specific locations of
your choice. CIC uses the most efficient and cost effective methods of
handling the shipment of costumes anywhere in the world!
